Sounds familiar

It’s so common in a lot of companies to focus on vanity goals. One of the strangest and most common is how long can you work without sleep. In reality it’s actually how long can you function, rather than work as I’ve noticed some unfortunate people who take the whole minimal sleep thing as a badge of honour with disastrous results.

To those I say stop it. You’re breaking/ruining something and acting irrationally leaving those around who are actually doing real work to pick up the pieces.

Working in a startup is like driving down a motorway at 200mph. It takes a lot of concentration and if you mess up you’ve not only lost control but potentially thrown away days if not months of work.
