Does anyone the old Super Nintendo game from the 90's called Starfox? It was particularly innovative at the time as it was one of the first true 3D shooter games released for a mass market consumer games console, and the cartridge included a maths co-processor in order to make the 3D matrix math performant.
Nowadays, a mobile phone could easily reproduce the same graphics let alone a modern laptop with a browser utilising WebGL. Which I guess is the least we could expect seeing as how we're moving more AI capabilities on device, rather than in the cloud. Anyways, I digress. Other than my main job which is CTO of a Fintech in London, I also consult from time to time for various clients on the subjects of payments and now more frequently Artificial Intelligence as my degree was heavily maths/machine learning focused with plenty of chances to apply my knowledge throughout the years..
While sprucing up my company page, I decided to add a nice little addictive easter egg of a game reminiscent in theme to my childhood favourite Starfox. It's desktop only for now, but it's hella fun. Maybe a little too addictive, so don't blame me if you waste your morning playing it. I might extract it into something more full blown in the future but for now it's just a little something fun to toy with.
